The Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for creating and managing an attractive, warm, and challenging learning environment for young children. This involves incorporating developmentally appropriate learning activities that meet the needs of both the group and individual children.
Candidates need a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, along with specific ECE/CD coursework or equivalent. A valid Driver's License, computer literacy, and strong communication/organizational skills are also required.
