Part Time Pre-K Assistant Teacher - New Hyde Park

The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of a classroom program that addresses the educational, social development, and health needs of the children under the supervision of the head teacher and center director. Duties include actively implementing curriculum, supporting children during transitions, supervising children, and maintaining required record keeping and parent communication.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and have prior experience working with infants aged 3 to 5 years old. Essential availability is required between 12 pm and 6 pm, monday through friday, and the role requires physical fitness to actively participate in age-Appropriate activities and lift/Carry children.
