College and Career Readiness Advisor

The advisor actively recruits students for the trio talent search program, managing a caseload of 180-220 students to deliver academic advising, career orientation, and mentoring based on individual action plans. Responsibilities also include meeting quarterly service goals, delivering workshops on financial aid and college readiness, and maintaining accurate student documentation for grant compliance.

A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is required, though an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working with youth, specifically low-Income, first-Generation, and/Or minority youth, and experience advising students toward postsecondary education.
