- MIDDLE SCHOOL - MIAMI, FL 33133The Librarian position at Ransom Everglades School is a full-time staff position reporting to the Director of Libraries. This position is based on the Middle School campus and supports the Middle and Upper School libraries.

- Duties
- Responsibilities: Teach research and digital and information literacy skills to middle school students. Collaborate with library staff to develop and manage the middle school print and digital collections and resources. Initiate library programming and outreach that aligns with school values. Performing typical library tasks including, but not limited to, cataloging and processing of materials, inventorying, weeding, collection evaluation, and creation of topical displays. Liaise with faculty to develop print and digital resources to support the curriculum. Maintain and update current LibGuides and create new ones as required. Manage and evaluate MS library subscriptions. Assist users with research and reference questions. Prepare periodic library communication to the community. Contribute to the maintenance of the library webpage and related digital platforms. Stay abreast of products and developments in digital resource management and provide related instruction to faculty and students. Cross-train in library duties on both campuses. Perform other related duties as assigned. Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library and information science program. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Proficiency in library management systems; Atrium and LibGuides preferred. Proficiency with academic databases. Previous library experience; school library experience (preferred).
