The Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional assists the Instructional/Lay Teacher in planning, guiding, and evaluating student learning processes to maximize competencies in intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. This role involves supporting Catholic education philosophy, modeling Gospel values, and assisting with instruction, assessment, and classroom management according to school and Diocesan policies.
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, along with some college or previous experience, and being a practicing Catholic in good standing. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for working with children, willingness to learn instructional strategies, knowledge of Catholic teachings, and strong organizational and communication skills.
