Lifeguards

Lifeguards must provide supervision in the pool area, respond to emergencies, and perform basic duties for pool maintenance. Swim instructors are responsible for providing swim lesson instruction, evaluating students, submitting documentation, and maintaining a positive and patient demeanor.

Lifeguards are required to have a current lifeguard certification, preferably through the red cross, and must be at least 16 years old. Swim instructors should ideally possess an american red cross water safety instructor (Wsi) certification and have previous aquatic experience, with a minimum age requirement of 16.
