and Specific Responsibilities Model for students the mission and values of Presentation High School Maintain daily on-site availability during school hours for substitute teaching assignments Offer flexible availability to remain on campus after hours as needed Implement strong classroom management skills that promote the learning of all students Present the substitute lesson plan (as provided by the classroom teacher) and facilitate student completion of the lesson. (No specific subject matter expertise needed, as substitute lesson plans are designed to be self-guided for students) Step into non-instructional and auxiliary roles, such as attendance or front desk operations, to support campus staff. Assist with administrative tasks as needed by members of the EdLT Complete all necessary training to complete assigned tasks Exercise professionalism at all times with students, parents, and colleagues Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience High School diploma Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience working with high school students preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Total resonance with the mission, vision, and values of Presentation High School and the Catholic education tradition, including a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Excellent organization, verbal and written skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills, particularly with students. Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and comfortable utilizing other computer-based tools A willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Presentation community.
