Respite Care Worker

The role involves providing quality care and assistance to clients in the absence of their parents or guardians, which may range from skilled nursing care to behavioral intervention services as directed by a supervisor. Essential duties include assisting children with daily living skills, engaging them in developmental activities, and responding appropriately to accidents or seizures.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with one year of childcare experience, preferably with special needs populations, and pcm training is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid florida driver's license, current auto insurance, and certifications for hiv course, first aid, osha, and medication administration.
