Core responsibilities
The special needs advocate educates and coaches parents on navigating special education services, iep development, and community resources. They are also responsible for marketing the program to grow the client caseload and maintaining accurate case documentation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, social sciences, education, or a related field, along with at least one year of experience working with children with special needs. A valid florida driver's license and knowledge of special education law and the ada are required.
