Here's what you need to know about the role

1) You’ll be joining the Schiffert Health Center team; a department centered on the health and well-being of our student population. 2) You’ll be reporting to the Radiology Manager, in a 1,500-hour non-student wage appointment. 3) You’ll be responsible for taking diagnostic radiographs utilizing computed ionized radiation using CR/PACS system and performs related clerical/administrative work as a radiologic technologist at Schiffert Health Center according to departmental and Schiffert Health Center policies when coverage is needed in the Radiology Department. 4) You’ll have the chance to grow and take advantage of a developmental plan with opportunities to advance within the Department and the Division. 5) You’ll be offered a base compensation package between $25.00 - $27.00.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited program of radiologic technology with current ARRT certification in radiologic technology and full state licensure or eligible for licensure.
  • Previous experience performing radiologic procedures with computed radiography techniques.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the application of principles, procedures and techniques for the operation of radiologic equipment including accurate positioning, correct image for computer radiography.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiation and related electrical safety procedures.
  • Previous administrative experience maintaining / updating medical records.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer skills including word processing and data entry using Microsoft Office or similar programs in a professional setting.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful and effective relationships with diverse, multicultural student and staff population.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating radiologic equipment in a medical and/or academic healthcare setting.
