GEAR UP College Advisor

The college advisor will provide one-On-One advising to cohort students on college and career readiness, assisting with applications, enrollment steps, and easing transitions to postsecondary education. Responsibilities also include monitoring student engagement, tracking progress, and collaborating with school staff and gear up leadership.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and familiarity with college admissions and financial aid processes, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of experience advising high school students on college and career readiness topics.
