Part-Time 8th Grade ELA Tutor (Lufkin, TX)

The tutor will provide academic support in 8th grade ela to small and large groups of students, utilizing information about class assignments and adapting teaching strategies as needed. Tutors must also maintain consistent communication with study smart tutors staff and partner with the education team to implement comprehensive learning strategies.

Candidates must possess a completed 4-Year degree and be available to work on tuesdays and thursdays from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm cst for in-Person tutoring. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired, and all hires must successfully complete a background check.
