Early Head Start Teacher

The early head start teacher collaborates with the lead teacher to develop and implement engaging, research-Based lesson plans tailored for 0-3 year olds, managing daily classroom activities and ensuring a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include integrating health, nutrition, and disability support into learning, conducting parent conferences, adhering to compliance standards, and monitoring child progress through observation and documentation.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree in early childhood education (Ece) or child development (Cd), or sixty college credit hours including fifteen semester hours in infant/Toddler development. A minimum of two years of experience in an early childhood setting is required, with preferred knowledge of creative curriculum, teaching strategies gold, and various assessment tools.
