Child Care Associate Teacher

This role supports the lead teacher and director by creating a safe, positive environment, implementing program curriculum, and supervising children according to ymca policies. The associate teacher is responsible for building relationships with members, conducting observations, maintaining records, and engaging parents.

Candidates must meet educational and experience qualifications established by childcare licensing, be at least 18 years old, and obtain cpr, first aid, aed, and child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire. A minimum of one year of experience working with children in a developmental setting is required, with three or more years in a licensed facility being highly preferred.
