Core responsibilities
The assistant teacher will support the toddler lead teacher by implementing age-Appropriate lesson plans and fostering children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through active engagement. Responsibilities also include preparing the classroom, ensuring safety and cleanliness, supervising children, and assisting with communication to families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and demonstrate empathy and compassion for young children, working productively without supervision. A basic understanding of child development is required, along with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. And the capacity to pass required state background checks.
