AmeriCorps Youth Tutor & Mentor - Santa Rosa

Members will support students' academic and social-Emotional development by leading structured active recess activities, providing targeted literacy or math tutoring, and engaging in mentoring services. They will also support after-School programs, including homework help and enrichment activities, for the duration of the school year.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old (17 with parental approval) and possess a high school diploma or ged by the start date, along with us citizenship or lawful permanent resident status. Essential qualities include a passion for education, strong ethics, organization, and the ability to commit to a minimum 1700-Hour, 11-Month service term.
