Physician/Hospitalist-Internal Medicine-UHMG-83854

The physician/Hospitalist provides and manages direct patient care, including evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population. They also supervise medical students and residents and may manage daily operations of a medical program or patient care unit.

Candidates must have a doctorate degree in medicine or osteopathy with an unrestricted license and fellowship training in some specialties. Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for medical care, as well as the ability to supervise and train clinical professionals, is required.
