Behavior Support Professional

The behavior support professional develops and implements training plans for adaptive skills and positive behavior support. They also evaluate the effectiveness of these plans and provide training to staff involved in the support process.

Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of professional experience in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field. Completion of required training and certification courses as per state regulations is also necessary.
