School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Buckhannon Upshur Middle)

The licensed practical nurse is responsible for rendering individualized nursing care, performing routine administrative and clinical tasks, and safely implementing primary preventative and therapeutic nursing care for assigned patients. Duties include accurate medication administration, performing blood draws, assisting providers, documenting observations, and coordinating communication among the patient, caregiver, staff, and provider.

Candidates must possess a current lpn license in west virginia and current basic life support (Bls) certification, along with a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited lpn program. One year of experience in medical/Surgical nursing, an outpatient clinic setting, or a specialty area is preferred.
