Position Overview It Takes A Village Leadership Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated Middle School Teachers in the content areas of Math, Social Justice (Social Studies), and English Language Arts for our Bronzeville campus. In this role, you will create a rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive learning environment that supports academic achievement, critical thinking, and civic engagement. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in your content area Use culturally responsive teaching practices that reflect students’ identities and lived experiences Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Engage students in critical thinking, real-world problem solving, and project-based learning Build strong relationships with students and families Use assessments and data to inform instruction and support student growth Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Support students’ social-emotional development and positive behavior Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to continuously improve instructional practices and student outcomes Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation Perform additional duties as assigned to support classroom, school, and organizational needs Why Join ITAV?

Salary Range
