The sr dental hygienist provides preventive and oral healthcare services, including screenings and educational programs, particularly for children and patients with special needs. They also support the department of dentistry by performing therapeutic hygiene services and maintaining collaborative relationships with peers.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and a connecticut state license, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience, particularly with children. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, and previous hospital or public health experience is preferred.
