Optometric Technician

The optometric technician performs preliminary patient testing and assists faculty and students during patient encounters. They also manage patient flow and contribute to the training of optometry students.

Candidates must have an associate's degree or a high school diploma with clinical experience in an optometry setting. At least one year of clinical optometry experience and proficiency with ehr systems are required.
