Child Life Specialist Pediatric Emergency Department

Provide developmentally appropriate, child life focused care to pediatric patients and their families in the pediatric emergency department. Deliver individualized therapeutic interventions that support coping, education, and emotional well-Being throughout the patient’s care experience.

A bachelor’s degree in child life or a related field is required, along with a 600-Hour child life specialist internship. Certification as a child life specialist is preferred, and candidates must achieve certification within 12 months of hire.
