Career Transition Specialist

The career transition specialist is responsible for counseling students on career transition readiness and job search skills, ensuring they are connected with employment or educational opportunities. They maintain active student files, conduct interviews, and coordinate job fairs and mock interviews.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, or an associate degree with two years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include previous job corps experience and knowledge of case management and career counseling techniques.
