Medical Assistant Student Apprenticeship

The medical assistant apprentice assists providers with patient exams, prepares exam rooms, and performs clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs and collecting specimens. They also maintain patient medical records, handle scheduling, and provide support to the nursing and patient support team.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and reside within the service area of the workforce development board of south-Central wisconsin. Candidates must be willing to commit to an 18-Month full-Time apprenticeship program and obtain basic life support certification.
