Values: Courage, Kindness, Honor, Purpose. Position Description The Freshman Girls Volleyball Coach coordinates programming in collaboration with the Head Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach. This role is responsible for providing direction to student-athletes to help them achieve high skill levels while fostering an appreciation for physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

  • Leadership: Coordinate and supervise the Freshman Girls Volleyball program; develop appropriate training programs and practice schedules.

  • Safety: Ensure adherence to Branson and League policies; maintain a safe environment for student-athletes at all times.

  • Supervision: Supervise athletes at home and away games; ensure adherence to training rules, academic requirements, and behavioral standards.

Communication

Maintain regular contact with parents regarding team operations; resolve conflicts professionally.

Operations

Manage equipment and uniform inventory, storage, and maintenance; submit budget requests to the Athletic Director for approval.

Administrative

Maintain accurate records and complete timecards via Paycom punctually.

Position

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).

Experience

1–2 years of coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level (preferred).

Certifications

CPR Certified through the American Red Cross; valid driver’s license (required to transport athletes to off-campus events).

Skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; excellent oral and written communication.

Qualities

Ability to interact thoughtfully with a diverse community, maintain confidentiality, and act as a professional representative of the school.

Physical

Requirements

Exertion: Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.

Mobility

Standing for long periods, walking long distances, and bending at hips/knees.

Environment

Requirements
