The associate teacher works with the lead teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational activities for children. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment while documenting child progress and engaging with families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold at least an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field. A child development associate (Cda) certification is required, and at least six months of experience in an early childhood program is preferred.
