American Sign Language Interpreter ASL

The american sign language interpreter will provide asl services to students in a classroom setting and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. They are responsible for interpreting classroom instruction and student interactions while supporting students throughout the school day.

Candidates must possess an american sign language interpretation certification, an eipa score of 3.5 or higher, and rid certification. Experience interpreting in k-12 classrooms and knowledge of idea and iep processes are required.
