While most Network partners hire new graduates into Xray roles and then train for advanced modalities, some locations offer direct entry into advanced modalities. RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST JOB DESCRIPTION: Radiology Technologists will demonstrate progressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of a radiologist, supervisor, and lead technologists. Our Xray Techs assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed. Radiologic Technologists may be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis. RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JRCERT. Licensed with the State of Vermont or State of New York to practice in Radiology prior to start date. ARRT Certification will be required as well.
