Paraprofessional Paraprofessional

The paraprofessional assists teachers with instructional materials, student learning objectives, and daily classroom routines. They also manage media center operations, including circulation, inventory, and student assistance with technology resources.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or ged and pass the gace para assessment or possess 60 semester hours of college credit. Proficiency in communication, organization, and basic technology is required, along with the ability to obtain a georgia psc paraprofessional certificate.
