Paraprofessional Paraprofessional

The paraprofessional assists teachers in preparing educational materials and reinforcing learning objectives for students individually or in small groups. They also manage daily classroom routines, monitor student behavior in various school settings, and maintain instructional areas.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or ged and pass the gace para assessment or possess at least 60 semester hours of college credit. Additionally, the applicant must be able to obtain a georgia psc paraprofessional certificate.
