Residential Care Counselor

The residential care counselor is responsible for the care and safety of assigned children, participating in the development and implementation of therapeutic residential treatment plans. They supervise daily routines, document observations, and intervene in crisis situations as needed.

Candidates must have a baccalaureate degree in a human service field or equivalent experience, along with six months to one year of direct child care work with emotionally impaired youth. Current certifications in crisis management, cpr, and safety are also required.
