Bachelor’s degree in education or related field of study. Understanding of Mathematics and/or ELA instructional tactics related to the grade band you're interested in working with. Strong love and commitment to helping students work through mistakes while building pro-social and academic skills. Experience working with school-aged children in an academic or youth development setting. Experienced teachers must show a proven track record of achievement in the classroom. Teacher Performance Outcomes At minimum, 75% of all students meet grade level standards in core content areas as measured by internal assessments and state assessments (grades 3-8). At minimum, 33% of all students will exceed proficiency (level 4) in ELA and Mathematics as measured by the internal assessments. At minimum, 90% of students will show growth in literacy and mathematics as measured by the internal assessments. At minimum, 75% of students will meet grade level non-academic standards/goals as measured by internal assessments and performance tasks. Full-Time Teacher Pay Range $80,000—$115,000 USD
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field and possess a strong understanding of ELA or Mathematics instructional tactics. Experience working with school-aged children is required, along with a proven track record of achievement for experienced applicants.
