The floater will provide coverage for teachers, assist with daily classroom needs, and maintain a clean and orderly environment. They will also support staff absences and help organize supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.

Acceptable Credential or Coursework Options
Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate, or
Current Child Development Associate (CDA) plus at least 12 months of experience working with children in grade 3 or younger, or
State Board of Education–approved Human Services Program Certificate with a focus on child development or early childhood education plus at least 12 months of experience with children in grade 3 or younger, or
Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals course or the Vermont Afterschool Essentials Certificate plus at least 12 months of experience with children in grade 3 or younger, or
Successful completion of a 3‑credit college course in child development, human development, or school‑age care and education plus at least 12 months of experience with children in grade 3 or younger
