Substance Abuse Counselor

The substance abuse counselor implements and maintains the trainee employee assistance program by conducting assessments, individual counseling, and group sessions for students. They also provide prevention education, facilitate staff training, and act as a liaison between the center and community resources.

Candidates must hold a state certification as a substance abuse counselor and possess at least two years of experience in a related field. A valid driver's license and the ability to perform physical activities such as walking and sitting are also required.
