CDI Audit Educator RN

The cdi audit educator is responsible for auditing inpatient and outpatient medical records to ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance. They also develop and deliver educational tutorials to the coding and cdi teams while mentoring staff members.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of acute hospital-Based coding or cdi experience and hold a valid registered nurse (Rn) license or relevant coding certification. A degree in health information management is preferred, along with strong knowledge of coding guidelines and documentation standards.
