  • AM - 12:45 PM Program Coordinators are responsible for the setup, facilitation and breakdown of assigned morning rotation with the support of counselors. Areas of concentration are art, science, archery, dance, camp spirit, and field games. Other duties include lunch supervision and patrol, inventory, and organization of supplies, and assist with camper drop-off in the morning. All Program Coordinators are expected to plan ahead for summer by developing curriculum, creating supply lists, and reviewing existing inventory to ensure a smooth and successful season. Essential Responsibilities Plan and execute exciting, engaging, and age-appropriate camp activities. Develop culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate programming aligned with YMCA values. Create curriculum and prepare materials prior to the start of camp. Develop supply lists and cross-check existing inventory for assigned program areas. Supervise campers during lunch and assigned patrol times. Assist with camper drop-off procedures in the morning. Organize and maintain program supplies and equipment. Prepare creative and engaging rainy-day plans and support Activity Leaders as needed. Follow all YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to safety, medical situations, discipline, child abuse prevention, and emergencies. Model strong relationship-building skills with campers, families, and fellow staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2 Years Camp experience or teaching in a classroom setting. At least 21 years of age.
