Ophthalmic Assistant Apprenticeship Program

The ophthalmic assistant will assist eye care providers with patient exams, treatments, and minor surgical procedures. They are also responsible for documenting patient history, performing diagnostic testing, and providing patient education.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. No prior experience is required as this is an apprenticeship program.
