Preschool Teacher

The preschool teacher is responsible for leading daily classroom operations, implementing early learning lesson plans, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children. They must also build strong, professional relationships with families and collaborate with team members to support the ymca's mission.

Candidates must hold an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field, with a bachelor's degree preferred. At least two years of experience in a developmental setting and the ability to meet physical demands such as lifting and active play are required.
