About the role

The Special Education Teacher provides academic and functional instruction to students with behavioral health challenges while monitoring progress through data collection. They are responsible for developing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implementing positive behavior support systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s level degree in Special Education required.
  • PA certification in Special Education is required.
  • Content area certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting preferred.

Requirements
