Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and pass all required background checks. Candidates must demonstrate professional conduct and possess the ability to travel to various childcare facilities.
To be eligible to work as a substitute with Kinley Ames, applicants must meet the following requirements in accordance with Texas Health and Human Services childcare licensing standards and company policies: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to pass all required background checks in accordance with Texas Health and Human Services childcare licensing regulations. Must have a high school diploma or GED (higher qualifications may be required for certain roles such as Lead Teacher, Assistant Director, or Director). Must have or be willing to obtain required Texas childcare training and documentation, including safe sleep training, CPR/First Aid certification, and other state-required courses when applicable. Must demonstrate the ability to work professionally with children, staff, and parents in a childcare environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt quickly when stepping into different childcare programs. Must be able to follow childcare licensing rules, classroom procedures, and facility policies. Must have reliable transportation to travel to childcare facilities within the service area.
