About the role

The Teacher Assistant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support students with severe behavioral disorders. They are responsible for providing classroom assistance and following the guidance of the educational team.

Private Special Education school seeks highly motivated Teacher Assistant to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team working with severely BD students.

Teacher Assistants must have or qualify for Paraprofessional Approved Certification.

Training provided. Must be mature, at least 21 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass background checks by facility or licensing agencies. Benefits include health, dental, life and pension. We offer competitive wages and great hours (8:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Requirements

Candidates must hold or qualify for Paraprofessional Approved Certification and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to pass background checks.
