About the role

The teacher will provide specialized instruction within a day school setting as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary education team. Responsibilities include maintaining a high level of motivation and commitment to the educational needs of students.

Special Education Day School is seeking a talented, dedicated Special Education Teacher that is highly motivated and interested in a challenging position on a dynamic education team. Strong commitment to multi-disciplinary approach is required.

Must be mature, at least 25 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Illinois Teaching Certificate in Learning Behavior Specialist required. Must be able to pass all required background checks by facility or licensing agencies.

Benefit include health, dental, vision & lift insurance and pension plan. Additional paid training provided. We offer competitive wages and great hours (8:00 am – 3:00 pm M-F).

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Illinois Teaching Certificate in Learning Behavior Specialist and be at least 25 years of age. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass all required background checks are mandatory.
