School Special Education Teacher MS

The teacher is responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (Ieps) and lesson plans for students. They must also manage classroom behavior and maintain regular communication with parents and the classroom team.

Candidates must hold an initial nys certification in childhood education and students with disabilities. A master's degree in special education is required, though candidates with a bachelor's degree may be hired if they commit to completing a master's within five years.
