Special Education Teacher, ECS

The teacher coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students, including the development and implementation of individual education programs (Ieps). They also monitor student progress, maintain a safe learning environment, and collaborate with staff and families to support student needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
