The successful candidate will serve as an attending in the emergency department and participate in efforts to improve patient safety and clinical quality. They will also provide leadership on projects and participate in the rotating sick call coverage schedule.
Candidates must have a current Colorado Medical License, completion of an emergency medicine residency, and be board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Additional qualifications for the Adjoint Senior Instructor level include completion of a fellowship in emergency medicine or another specialty.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Adjoint Instructor or Adjoint Senior Instructor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Adjoint Instructor · Current Colorado Medical License, or ability to obtain prior to start date · Completion of an emergency medicine residency · Board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine · Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree Adjoint Senior Instructor · Current Colorado Medical License, or ability to obtain prior to start date · Completion of an emergency medicine residency · Board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine · Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree · Completion of a fellowship in emergency medicine or other specialty
Preferred Qualifications: · A demonstrated track record of excellent clinical performance
