As a Flexible Child Care Substitute, you will accept available assignments that fit your schedule and travel preferences. Assignments may vary in length and location and are based on client demand. This is a flexible, shift-based position. Hours are not guaranteed, and work opportunities depend on client requests and your availability. Many of our substitutes also work for other child care providers, attend school, or balance family responsibilities. This position is ideal for professionals seeking flexibility while remaining active in the child care field. What You'll Do Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children. Follow the policies and procedures of the assigned child care program. Supervise children and maintain a positive learning environment. Communicate professionally with center staff and families. Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled assignments. Accurately record and verify hours worked through the Shift App. Scheduling & Flexibility Choose from available shifts that fit your schedule. Update your availability regularly through our Shift App. Check the app throughout the day for newly posted opportunities. Once a shift request is approved and assigned, you are responsible for working that shift. If an emergency arises, shift swaps must be requested through the app and approved by management. While this position offers flexibility, reliability is essential. Our child care partners depend on us to provide dependable coverage when they need it most.
