Instructional Assistant - General Education [K-5]

The instructional assistant provides support to classroom teachers by assisting with instructional activities and implementing academic or behavioral interventions for students. They also perform administrative tasks, maintain classroom materials, and ensure a safe and encouraging environment for all students.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or ged and be working toward an associate's degree or child development associate (Cda) credential. Alternatively, they must meet the employment requirements outlined by the every student succeeds act (Essa) with relevant coursework or experience.
