Para Special Education Low Incidence (2025-2026 School Year)

The paraeducator assists teachers in providing instructional support, managing classroom routines, and implementing behavior plans for students with low-Incidence needs. They also provide physical assistance with student hygiene, mobility, and medical needs while maintaining a safe and structured learning environment.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and meet specific college credit or assessment requirements for title schools. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and the capacity to perform physical interventions for student safety.
