Job description

  • HJ Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral support and consultation within a local school district.
  • The BCBA will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance student success through behavior intervention plans, data-driven assessments, and individualized support strategies.
  • Key Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral support to students across assigned campuses.
  • Collaborate with teachers and paraprofessionals to model and reinforce effective behavior management techniques.
  • Analyze data to measure student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff training.
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field. Current and active BCBA certification. Experience working in a public school setting preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse student populations. Ability to travel between school sites as needed.
